Yes. I had them re-done ohh, about 100 miles or so before I parked the car for the rebuild. I am keeping the variable timing even though the stiffer springs and 500 cams will wear the gears out in about 10k miles or so. The car will run better, be more responsive off boost, and maybe, just maybe, someone will come out with stronger ones in about 18 months when I need new ones. I'm told they will get noisy as they wear out, but I don't risk any KABOOM issues.
